High to Low Voltage's roots run deeper than our name. Our transformer division has been serving the industry since 1990, and our leadership brings more than 60 years of hands-on electrical experience to the business. That combined history of decades of transformer expertise, paired with real-time experience in the field, is why customers trust us with their most urgent, high-stakes power needs.
High to Low Voltage officially started in Colorado in 2018 with a simple idea: make sourcing critical electrical equipment faster, clearer, and less frustrating. Since then, we have expanded our in-house transformer capabilities and added equipment rentals in 2023, giving customers more ways to keep projects moving. Today, we continue to grow our services and equipment options while remaining the responsive, relationship-first team our customers count on.
Good to know: Our regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with after-hours emergency support available nights and weekends. However you reach us, whether by email, a quote form, or a support inquiry, every request runs through one system, so it gets to the right person and the attention it needs.
Richard Brown is a 20-year veteran in the electrical contracting and wholesale electrical equipment industry. Richard got his start making fixture whips in the garage of a contractor in Spring, TX. He attended Texas A & M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution. After graduation, Richard moved to Denver, CO and enrolled in a training program with a large electrical wholesaler, and began management of a single location in Casper, WY. After three years in Wyoming Richard moved back to Denver and worked for a distributor/value-added reseller of electrical apparatus and equipment. In2018, Richard began H2LV while on the shores of Maui, Hawaii. Ultimately that is what happens when you get fired while on vacation.
